Conga – The Dance of the Carnaval

The Conga is the most prominent dance of the Cuban Carnaval. It’s a super vibrant dance, easy to pick up, and have fun with friends while they march on the streets of Cuba. Until today you can participate in the many Carnavals of Cuba and see the masses dancing about like crazy. The most famous of these is the annual Carnaval de Santiago de Cuba.

Who is it for?

Generally speaking, Conga is relatively easy to pick up and no previous experience is needed. But this is not to say some of the movements cannot be done with a little more detail – so this class is for anyone that wants to immerse in Cuban dance culture.
