What is salsa con sentimiento?
Danuta and I (Ido) have always found something magical when we dance together. For years, we simply enjoyed it—each dance felt different, expressive, playful, alive. And when the music ended, it was clear that what we experienced went beyond what Salsa is traditionally taught to be.
Lately we’ve been exploring that “magic,” trying to understand it so we could share it with the next generation of dancers. What we discovered is that every dance is a kind of play—and our medium is emotion, a story we create together in the moment. Now, we’re excited to share this perspective with you.
Salsa can be elegant. It can be romantic, passionate, playful, even spicy. It has many faces—and we want to guide you on a journey to discover them, and to take your dance beyond what you’ve been told it should be.
Limited spots — we recommend booking early!
What to expect from the workshops?
We’ll explore the different emotions that live within the dance—when to access them, and how. Through exercises, games, and Salsa Routines, we’ll dive deep into each quality and learn how to bring it onto the dance floor in a natural, authentic way.
What level should you be?
This workshop focuses less on specific Salsa techniques and more on expression. However, the routines will require an intermediate level, as we won’t be teaching in depth any of Salsa Cubana base elements.
Can I join individual days?
You can—but we highly recommend joining the full experience. This is designed as a journey, and it makes the most sense when experienced as a whole.
Single-day registrations will open after the early bird phase.
